Audio Storytelling

What is audio storytelling? How do I create a compelling podcast or radio show? How can I get it released or on air?

Express Media is proud to present the debut stream of Toolkits: Audio Storytelling – an online course in the forms, skills, and ethics of audio storytelling. This program will combine theoretical approaches, practical exercises, and group workshopping to guide young producers through the development of their work.

Toolkits is first and foremost a practical initiative. During this 12-week course, you’ll get to explore the varied formats of audio storytelling with a group of peers, gaining skills in researching, producing and releasing audio work. With mentorship from industry professionals, participants will hone their approach to planning, pre-production research, interviewing, editing, and more. They will learn how to create their own original work, explore the possibilities of collaborative work, and learn about pathways into the radio and podcasting industries.

If you are a producer or creative aged 30 and under interested in audio storytelling, we want to hear from you!
