The competition may be used as an assessment tool and meets guidelines of the:
• Australian Curriculum: History, English, Geography (draft); General capabilities, Cross-curricula priorities and links to other learning areas; and
• WA Curriculum Framework (S&E, English, The Arts and T&E)

The competition asks students to use the process of historical inquiry to deliver interpretation and perspectives. A curriculum assessment sheet is also available to download from the website.
