Betty Bennell Poetry; traditional or free verse to 30 lines
Article to 800 words

Short Story: Entry fee $10. 1st prize $150, 2nd prize $50. HC and Commended Certificates. Each short story will receive 3 lines of constructive criticism from the judge.
Poetry, Article: Entry fee $6 or 4 for $20. 1st Prize $50,
2nd Prize $25. H.Commended & Commended Certificates.
NO entry forms required.
BUT entrants must state entries are original,unpublished,have not previously received an award or be under consideration elsewhere/ in any other competition.
NO NAMES TO APPEAR ON MANUSCRIPTS

Entries must be typed in Times New Roman 12 or 14 font on one side of A4 paper, double-spaced (except poetry).
A COVER SHEET WITH EACH ENTRY WITH CATEGORY, AUTHOR’S NAME, ADDRESS, EMAIL ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBERS. Entrants will be emailed on receipt of entry, also if short-listed. Include SSAE for result sheet and comments.
Judges’ decision is final, no correspondence will be entered into. Copyright remains with author. Entries destroyed after judging.
