Julia is managing editor at Black Inc., where she is lucky to work with some of the country’s best writers. She has previously worked at Scribe, Penguin, Macmillan and Insight, and co-run a small journal, harvest. Julia was in Voiceworks’ EdComm, and she and Express Media’s Joe Toohey established the Scribe Nonfiction Prize. Julia was awarded a place in the prestigious Yale Publishing Course and is a recipient of the Barbara Ramsden Prize for Editing. She holds a master in publishing and teaches editing at RMIT.
