Cathy Tran is a Grade 1 Radiographer with experience working in major public hospitals and smaller private centres. She has strong leadership and mentoring experience with a particular interest in interdisciplinary teamwork and health education. She volunteered as fiction and nonfiction editor on the Voiceworks editorial committee from 2009 – 2017. As a member of EdComm she not only helped to work on the magazine but also ran workshops and presented on panels at various events, including the National Young Writers’ Festival. These skills have translated well into her current field of healthcare where she hopes to

make the language of health more accessible to vulnerable communities.
