NYWM: Day Twenty-Six

Did you know it’s nearly time for New South Wales Writers’ Centre 7th Children’s and Young Adult Literature Festival? If you’re interested in reading or writing in either of these genres, it’s well worth setting aside June 30 to immerse yourself in a full day of discussions, launches and panels. More details can be found here.

It’s nearly time for the next fastBREAK event at The Powerhouse Museum in Ultimo, NSW. On June 29 you can hear Clover Moore, Marita Cheng, Nic Newling, Luke Geary and Annalie Killian speak for five minutes each, then chat with them over breakfast. Book your tickets here.

Did you know the Salisbury Writers’ Festival kicks off on 24th August for its eighth year? The program is now available online, and entries to the Salisbury Writers’ Festival Writers Competition close on July 13. The competition is open to all writers in South Australia with categories for under 16s and 17+. Check the website for more details.

Today the NYWM Travelling Story is in South Australia. Our daily writer is Sophia Anna, 19, from Magill.
