NYWM: Day 22

22

How do you find out about new books to read? Do you check out shortlists for prizes such as the Stella Prize or Miles Franklin? Check out recommendations from Goodreads? How about the helpful What Should I Read Next tool? Are you participating in the Australian Women Writers Challenge? Or do you rely on good old fashioned recommendations from friends?

Do you attend a bookclub? We can all enjoy our monthly dose of the First Tuesday Bookclub, and Kill Your Darlings bookclub is also one we can all attend, seeing as the allocated meeting place for discussions is Twitter… hooray! On June 26 between 1-2pm you should follow the #KYDBOOKCLUB hashtag and join in the conversation about Jill Stark’s High Sobriety. You can also check out Estelle Tang’s review on the KYD website.
