We would like to invite our community of writers, editors, artists, word lovers, and everyone who knew and loved the inimitable Kat Muscat to join us in celebrating her life, writing, (and great hugs).

We will be holding a memorial on Tuesday 4^th August from 2pm – 4pm at The Wheeler Centre, 176 Little Lonsdale Street. This will be an opportunity to come together and remember the light that she brought into all of our lives, and will feature readings of Kat’s words alongside images and videos of her time with us.

This event is open to everyone, and we extend a heart-felt and warm welcome for all.

We also invite you to submit images or videos you may have of Kat to be screened at the event to writers@emergingwritersfestival.org.au.
