Amaryllis Gacioppo is an Australian writer of stories and essays. Currently she is undertaking a joint PhD in creative writing with Monash University and the University of Bologna. In 2015, she received a Lord Mayor’s Creative Writing Award for her short story “Dreams”. Her fiction has been shortlisted for both the Bristol Short Story Prize and the Overland Story Wine Prize. Her writing has appeared in Award Winning Australian Writing, Going Down Swinging, Catapult, 3:AM, and elsewhere.
