Description

A cool brine spills across the work in this issue—the sea in Christy Anne Jones’s ‘The Mercy of the Seafoam’, Narcissus’s pool in Hanqing Li’s ‘Simplicity in Preservation’, the storm in Aimee Cass’s ‘How Else Do You Traverse a Storm’. Feelings spill in Donnalyn Xu’s ‘dream translation’ and bathtubs fill with bright-gold seeds in Derek Chan’s ‘Where There’s Water’. In Lujayn Hourani’s ‘encircle’ there is a desire to be unlidded, to dribble; egg yolks are too dry, but information is beginning to leak.

This feast is all tied together by the amazing work of our designer, Selena Repanis.
