Laura Vitis (Voiceworks contributor) is a Criminology  PhD candidate at Monash University . Her short stories have appeared in Voiceworks and Verge. In 2009 her story Picasso Boy was included in the Black Inc 2009 Best Australian Short Story Anthology and in 2011 she won the Short Story category of the Lord Mayor’s Creative Writing Awards with Donyale Runs a Heart.
