Jessica Au (former Voiceworks contributor) lives and writes in Melbourne. She studied arts/law at the University of Melbourne and has worked as deputy editor for Meanjin Quarterly and editor of the Readings Monthly, as well as an occasional bookseller. Cargo, her first novel, was highly commended in the 2012 Kathleen Mitchell Award.
