In order to celebrate National Young Writers’ Month, Twitch, the youth arm of the Tasmanian Writers’ Centre, are hosting a spoken word competition based around the theme of ‘Flash Fiction’.

The details: you’ve got three minutes to read out some lyrics, a short story, poetry, slam poetry or anything in between, as long as it’s your original work. Our panel of esteemed judges will then pick a winner and runner up, who will receive some fantastic prizes.

It’s all happening on Thursday the 14th of June at Fullers Bookshop, Hobart, at 6pm.
