So what can you expect over the next 30 days? Well first off, you will be getting tonnes of help and advice to achieve your individual writing goals. We’re here to support every writer and their needs, so whether you’re a hopeful author or a budding journalist we’ve got you covered on all bases.

Each day on this blog we’ll be posting many opportunities including competitions to get your name out there, magazines needing an extra pair of creative hands, upcoming events and many resources to help you get published. Voiceworks, Express Media’s national quarterly magazine that features young and upcoming writers, are currently seeking submission for their next Winter issue. The theme is ‘Master’ and all forms of writing are open for consideration. Unsure of what to write? Check out their Ideas page to help your brainstorm.

Visible Ink, RMIT’s magazine created by the Professional Writing and Editing students, are also looking for submissions. The theme is ‘Encounters’ – so think along the lines of travel experiences, first loves, and the cathartic moments that have irrevocably changed your perspective on life. For guidelines, click here.
