Announcing Season 1 of the Express Media 2020 Program
Express Media is here for young writers. Whether you’re working on your very first piece or you’re ready to launch your career, we’re here to support you, provide access to opportunities, and to connect you to a community of young writers across the country.
We’re excited to launch our Season 1 2020 Program! We’ve got a bevy of opportunities and prizes for you to sink your teeth (and your pens) into.
Our Season 1 program is jam-packed with events, workshops and opportunities to get those pens to paper! We’re back with a bang, presenting much-loved initiatives such as our Toolkits program, Kat Muscat Fellowship and NEWS, as well as running Making Tracks in Adelaide and Canberra.
In 2020, we encourage you to get stuck into the poetry, fiction, nonfiction, comics and art found in each issue of Voiceworks, and challenge you to submit your own work for feedback and publication, in print and online! Voiceworks kicks off this year with the release of issue 118 As If, which will be launched at locations across Australia in early April.
Throughout 2020 there are countless opportunities to ensure you – young writers and lovers of lit – can keep reading, writing and discovering new ways to express yourself. Whatever your 2020 writing goals may be, Express Media is here to help you achieve them!
