Back Issues
Voiceworks has been publishing Australia’s young authors, poets and artists since 1989. Writers such as Benjamin law, Anna Krien and Justin Heazlewood can be found amongst these pages. Over dozens issues of Voiceworks we have conducted interviews the likes of Terry Pratchett, Gus Van Sant and Michael Franti. We spoke to Peter Garrett when he was still a musician. We contemplated the end of grunge, the beginning of post-modernism and we even gave online dating a try.
Voiceworks wore flannelette and forgot to wash its hair in the ‘90s; it survived the Y2K bug. We’ve definitely come a long way from the Express Australia newsletter we began as (see back issues 1989 – 1991) and while the competitions may now be out of date, the idea of winning a walkman is timeless. So please peruse, ponder and feel free to purchase our Voiceworks back issues.
